A small, family run nursery in the beautiful Windrush Valley, east of Burford, Oxfordshire

All our plants are hardy.  The nursery is in an exposed position and we grow on all stock outside in peat free compost 


Opening Hours

Tuesday to Sunday March to October

9.00 to 6.00 or dusk if earlier

Open by appointment on Mondays and in December  January and February

Due to the uncertainty of propagation, the saleable ferns will vary at any particular time.  We normally have about 20 cultivars with Dryopteris and Polystichum featuring strongly

A good range of herbs is carried at all times, including the standard, culinary varieties and some more unusual plants such as Horse radish and sorrel.

Everything we sell can be seen in the garden. It is open to the public in June under the National Gardens Scheme, but open to customers all year round

One mile east of Burford, north of the A40, on the road from Burford to Swinbrook

We are a plant nursery, and do not sell tools or accessories.  We always have compost for sale, and half barrels for planting.
