GARDEN
In 2012, the garden will be open for the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday, 24th June, from 14.00 to 18.00. Entry £3.00, children free.
Home made teas.
We welcome group visits at any time, by appointment, and can provide tea.
Customers to the nursery are welcome to wander round at any time.
The garden covers 2.5 acres on a sloping site overlooking the Windrush Valley. From the highest point it is possible to see the spire of Burford Church to the West and St. Oswald's at Widford to the East.
There are a variety of planted areas, including ponds, a rose garden, herbaceous and shrub borders and and an informal area of woodland and mixed shrubs. All the plants grown on the nursery can be seen somewhere in the garden. Ornamental grasses and bamboos are planted in many different settings, and the use of ground cover is demonstrated
