Pinquifolia ‘Pagei’; prostrate creeping, glaucous grey leaves, white
flowers in late spring and early summer, 1ft x 3ft; Z8
HEBE Sutherlandii; a pale green neat dense ball. White flowers in

HELIANTHEMUM.
Small low growing evergreens which will fill many situations such as
rock gardens, terracing, raised beds, or the front of borders. All have
1” saucer shaped flowers over a long period, from late spring to
mid-summer, and reach about 8” x 12”. Z7. We offer;

HYDRANGEA MICROPHYLLA LILACINA
A tough, reliable version of the lacecap hydrangea. A good blue in acid
soil, otherwise pink, 5ft x5ft. Z7.
HYPERICUM KOUYTCHENSE.
Similar to the better known ‘Hidcote’ (see below) but smaller reaching
about 3ft. Z7.
HYPERICUM ‘HIDCOTE’
A valuable, semi-evergreen shrub which will grow in almost any
situation. Three inch, cup shaped golden yellow flowers, with orange
stamens, from mid-summer to early autumn. 4ft x 4ft. Z7.
JASMINE NUDIFLORUM.
The winter Jasmine. Arching dark green stems, and small dark green
leaves. Yellow flowers in winter and early spring. good for sprawling
down a bank. Untrimmed may reach 10ft x 10ft. Z7.
KOLKWITZIA AMABILIS.
Known as ‘Beauty Bush’, one of the prettiest and easiest of shrubs.
Dense wide and arching with masses of bell shaped deep pink flowers in
spring and early summer. Up to 10ft x 10ft. Z6.
LONICERA FRAGRANTISSIMA.
Winter flowering shrubby semi-evergreen honeysuckle. Strongly scented
tubular creamy white flowers sporadically through winter and early
spring. A good host for a summer flowering climber such as clematis
durandii. 6ft x 6ft. Z6
