JASMINE NUDIFLORUM.
The winter Jasmine. Arching dark green stems, and small dark green leaves. Yellow flowers in winter and early spring. good for sprawling down a bank. Untrimmed may reach 10ft x 10ft. Z7. 

KOLKWITZIA AMABILIS.
Known as ‘Beauty Bush’, one of the prettiest and easiest of shrubs. Dense wide and arching with masses of bell shaped deep pink flowers in spring and early summer. Up to 10ft x 10ft. Z6. 

LAVATERA BURBUNDY WINE.
Vigorous semi-evergreen shrub. Profuse racemes of funnel shaped rich dark pink flowers 3in. across with darker veins throughout summer. 5ft x 5ft Z7. 

LAVATERA ‘LISANNE’.
Similar to the above but the flowers are white with a slight pink tinge.

LONICERA FRAGRANTISSIMA.
Winter flowering shrubby semi-evergreen  honeysuckle. Strongly scented tubular creamy white flowers sporadically through winter and early spring. A good host for a summer flowering climber such as clematis durandii. 6ft x 6ft. Z6 

LONICERA MAAKII
Exceptionally hardy and extremely large.  Big, glossy dark green leaves.  Fragrant white flowers, brilliant red berries.  10ft x 10ft.  Z2 

LONICERA TARTARICA.
Upright shrub bearing pale pink flowers in spring and early summer. Very hardy and drought resistant. 6ft x 6ft. Z5.

 MAGNOLIA STELLATA:
Compact bushy deciduous shrub, eventually reaching about 8ft x 8ft. Pure white 5” multi-petalled flowers are borne profusely in early spring. Z8.

 MAHONIA JAPONICA/MAHONIA JAPONICA BEALII
Large, evergreen, shade tolerant winter flowering shrubs.  Holly like foliage.  Sprays of scented yellow flowers, dropping in Japonica, erect in Bealii.  Z7.
