Comparatively low growing (3ft), typical sprays of yellow flowers in
spring; leaves show attractive colouring in autumn and winter. Z4.

JAPONICA/MAHONIA JAPONICA BEALII
Large, evergreen, shade tolerant winter flowering shrubs. Holly like
foliage. Sprays of scented yellow flowers, drooping in Japonica, erect
in Bealii. Z7.
MAHONIA REPENS;
Not creeping as the\ name suggests, but reaching about 3ft x 3ft
eventually, with yellow flowers in spring, glossy evergreen foliage,
with purplish-red autumn and winter colour. Z4.
PACHYSANDRA TERMINALIS.
Low growing evergreen spreading once established and capable of making
dense dark ground cover in shade. Fairly insignificant white flowers in
spring. 8” x indefinite. Z6.
PEROVSKIA
‘BLUE SPIRE’.
Delicate upright grey-white stems clothed in silver -grey finely cut
leaves. 12” spikes of small tubular blue flowers in late summer and
early autumn. 3ft x 2ft. Needs good drainage and sun and will grow in
dry places. Z7.
PEROVSKIA ‘FILIGRAN’.
Similar to the above but with more finely cut leaves.
