 CAMPANULA ALLIARIFOLIA.

Forms basal clump of attractive heart shaped leaves with arching stems from which white bells are suspended along th entire length from June to September. Moist soil. 18” x 18”. Z5.

 CAMPANULA LACTIFLORA.

Stalwart border perennial. Stout stems with narrow leaves all the way up bear  branching heads of small pale lilac bell shaped flowers from early summer to early autumn. Colours may vary.  3ft x 2ft. Z4.

 CAMPANULA LATIFOLIA ‘BRANTWOOD’.

Vigorous upright plant with stout stems carrying toothed leaves, and topped from June to August with heads of deep violet purple flowers. 3ft x 2ft. Z5.

 CAMPANULA MAKASCHVILLII.

A rare plant. Arching stems clad in small heart shaped leaves, bearing pink and white bells along their length in summer. 18” x 12”. Z6. 

CAMPANULA OCHROLEUCA ‘WHITE BELLS’.

Creamy white bell shaped flowers on 2ft stems, Flowers June and July. Z6.

 CAMPANULA PUNCTATA RUBRIFOLIA.

Low growing with rosettes of toothed dark green leaves, and erect stems .bearing. racemes of hanging tubular flowers in June. The blooms are red outside and cream with red spots inside. 18” x 18”. Z7. 

CAMPANULA SARMATICA.

Clump forming perennial , having a basal clump of heart shaped hairy leaves, and grey stems bearing large velvety-hairy light blue bells in June and July. For a well drained situation 20” x 16”. Z5.

 CAMPANULA TAKESIMANA.

Fine basal rosette of large leaves. Arching branched sprays of large tubular flowers, in summer, white tinged lilac and spotted maroon inside. Likes moist soil and partial shade. 18” x 2ft. Z5.

 CAMPANULA TRACHELIUM ALBA.

Similar to above but up to 3ft. Serrated nettle like leaves. Flowers july to September. Well drained soil. Z5. 

CENTRANTHUS RUBER

Red Valerian.  Cottage garden stalwart, useful for stony ground.  Spikes of red flowers in summer.    24” x 18”  Z6

 CLEMATIS ADDISONII.

A plant with several annual climbing stems up to 6ft. Large bluish green leaves. Flowers 1” white bells with thick petals, in July. Z7 

CLEMATIS CHRYSOCOMA.

A hardy perennial climber usually reaching about 6ft. Rose pink 4 petalled flowers, similar to C. montana, August to October. Needs some support. Z7. 

CLEMATIS INTEGRIFOLIA.

Numerous shoots reaching about 3ft, and dying back each winter. Violet bell shaped flowers with four long petals. An imposing plant for the herbaceous border. Z4.

CLEMATIS RECTA.

Clump forming perennial needing support. Panicles of small star shaped heavily scented white flowers from midsummer to autumn, followed by fluffy seed heads. 3ft x 2ft. Z4.

 CLEMATIS RECTA PURPUREA.

A fine form of the above with purple leaves. Not easy to produce and not always available. Z4.

 CONVALLARIA MAJALIS.

Lily of the Valley. Well known plant. Dark green foliage with spikes of scented white bells in late spring. Not always easy to establish, but can be rampant when happy. Seems to prefer semi-shade. Z5

 CORYDALIS OPHIOCARPA.

Finely cut fern like foliage an unusual mix of pewter and salmon. Small heads of bell shaped flowers, in spring  ivory with red tips. 1ft x 1ft. Z7.

 CROCOSMIA ‘GEORGE DAVISON’.

 Pale yellow touched with orange. One of the earliest. Flowers from mid-summer. 3ft. Z8. 

CROCOSMIA ‘MARS’.

Deep red flowers similar to ‘Lucifer’ but more compact. 2ft. Z8.

 CROCOSMIA ‘SEVERN SUNRISE’.

Orange Flowers with yellow eyes. Quite tall but neat. 3ft. Z8.
