SALVIA NEMOROSA TESQUICOLA.
A sub-species of the well known species with spikes of vivid violet-blue flowers slightly larger than the species. A stout bushy 3ft. plant flowering June to September Z6.

Masses of royal blue flowers clothing 3ft stems from June to September. A robust reliable plant. Z8
SEDUM RUPESTRE
Grey-green succulent leaves forming spikes. Erect star shaped yellow flowers in summer. Self seeds 8”.Z8.
SEDUM SPECTABILE ‘CARMEN’
Upright green stems, clothed with grey green succulent leaves and topped in late summer by 6” flat heads of tiny mauve pink flowers 18” x 18”.Z5.
SEDUM TELEPHIUM ‘PURPLE EMPEROR’.
Red stems carrying dark deep purple leaves. 8in. flowerheads with maroon flowers from August to October 20in. Z4.
SOLEIROLIA SOLEIROLII.
Known as Baby’s Tears and Mother of Thousands a 2” spreading bright green mat used as a ground cover often in Japanese style gardens. Best in a sheltered spot. Z8 borderline.
SOLIDAGO ‘GOLDEN BABY’
A small version of Golden Rod. Spikes of yellow flowers in late summer to early autumn. 18” x 12”. Z7.
STACHYS BYZANTINA.
Lamb’s Ears. Evergreen silver grey furry leaves. Purple flower spikes from June to September. Excellent ground cover in the right place. It can expand rapidly. Z5.
STACHYS MACRANTHA.
Slowly spreading clumps of interesting foliage. The leaves are dark green wrinkled with scalloped edges. Copious heads of purplish-pink flowers between May and August. Z6.
STACHYS OFFICINALIS.
Rosettes of scalloped dark green leaves. Erect stems to 12in. carrying heads of reddish-purple flowers from June to September. Z5.
STOKESIA LAEVIS ‘BLUE STAR’.
An attractive low growing plant 18” x 18”, flowering from April to July. Cornflower like mid-blue flowers. Prefers well drained acid soil. Z7.
STYLOPHORUM LASIOCARPUM.
For a cool shady place in leafy soil. Large softly divided leaves. 2” yellow poppy like flowers in spring 12” x 18” Z8.
