 VERBENA BONARIENSIS

Stiff upright stems bearing a few dark green leaves. Branched heads of purple flowers from midsummer to early autumn. 6ft x2ft. Z7.

 VERBENA “LA FRANCE”.

Copious flowers of an attractive shade of bluish purple from June to September, attaining about 1ft x 2ft. Thought to be hardy to about -5ºC. 

VERONICA AUSTRIACA TEUCHRIUM ‘ROYAL BLUE’.

Another really useful low growing veronica forming a dense tussock, covered from April to July with spikes of tiny bright deep blue flowers. 16” x 12”. Z6. 

VERONICA GENTIANOIDES

A mat forming plant with broad dark green leaves close to the ground.  Spikes of pale blue flowers in early summer to 12”.  Z7.

 VERONICA GRANDIS.

Two foot stems clad with pointed toothed leaves carry 12” spires of deep royal blue flowers from summer through to  late September. 30” x 18”.

 VERONICA SPICATA ‘BLUE CARPET’

Mat forming plant with small dark green leaves,  6” spikes of deep blue flowers July to September. Z8 

VERONICASTRUM VIRGINICUM ALBUM.

Reaching 4ft in flower, erect stems carry dark green leaves in whorls from top to bottom and from June to September are topped by clusters of upright spikes of small white flowers. A strong statement in the border. easily grown. Z6.

 YUCCA FILAMENTOSA

One of the few hardy Yuccas. Forms clump of sword like leaves about 30” x 30”. White fragrant bell shaped flowers are borne in clusters on 5ft stems. Z6.
