SPIRAEA JAPONICA.
An indispensable species of small easily grown late summer flowering
shrubs, having flat heads of numerous tiny pink flowers. There are
numerous cultivars many with coloured foliage, and many of the newer
ones are compact little plants. Z5 We offer in order of size:
‘Gold Mound’; light yellow foliage 18” x 30”;
‘Goldflame’; foliage is constantly changing colour,
starting
with a mixture of orange and lemon turning to mid-green
and
then bronze, 30” x 30”
SPIRAEA NIPPONICA ‘SNOWMOUND’.
Quite a large shrub flowering in May and June, showing an abundance of
white blossom. 6ft x 6ft. Z5.
STEPHANANDRA INCISA CRISPA.
A small low shrub with arching branches, pretty cut light green leaves,
and tiny creamy flowers in early summer. Excellent orange red autumn
colour. 2ft x 4ft. Z5.
TEUCHRIUM CHAMAEDRYS.
Wall Germander. Dwarf evergreen shrub forming a dense mass of tiny dark
green leaves, and carrying small pink flowers from early to late summer.
Can be clipped to form a dwarf hedge in a knot garden. 1ft x 1ft. Z7.
