GRASSES
| Acorus | Ornamental grasses
are a valuable addition to any garden. They come in a wide variety
of sizes, colours and habits, and many have beautiful flower
heads. They typically flower towards the end of summer, when other
points of interest in the garden are hard to find, and the flowers can
stay on throughout the winter, if the weather is not too stormy.
We tend to group grasses together, but include in the planting other subjects to bring a variety of texture and colour. Late flowering perennials, like Schiztolys, Sedum spectabile, verbenas, provide a contrasting type of flower. Perennials with sword like leaves, such as Phormium or Yucca can look magnificent against the thread like growth of the grasses. All our grasses are in 2 litre pots or above.
